Law of Obligations

An obligation is a legal relationship between two parties under which the creditor is entitled to require the debtor to perform an obligation or to observe a particular course of conduct.

To protect our clients’ interests in their dealings with counterparties, we draft written agreements, including contracts for the sale and purchase, exchange or donation of movable and immovable property; leases, loans and deposits; contracts for work; mandates; agreements establishing civil partnerships under Article 357 of the Obligations and Contracts Act; and all other unilateral and bilateral transactions provided for by law.

During the performance of the parties’ rights and obligations, we provide legal advice and oral and written consultations to ensure proper and timely contractual performance.

Where disputes arise between the parties concerning the formation, interpretation or performance of an obligation, or where non-contractual liability is involved, Gugusheva in Partnership with Kostov protects its clients’ interests both through out-of-court methods — negotiations and settlement — and through proceedings before the competent courts.
